| The Leo Adler Memorial Parkway is a project designed to
further enhance the beauty and livability of our town, Baker City,
Oregon. The paved
pathway parallels the
Powder River and extends from the South end of downtown to the North end
of the residential district. The initial concept was launched in 1993
and as of 2007 the paved pathway is complete except for
the four block area which is shown in yellow.
Plans call for completing this section of the pathway and adding a
park on city owned land as part of the project.
The Leo Adler Memorial Parkway (LAMP) has
been funded by grants from the Leo Adler Foundation, public and
private donations and the City of Baker City. Enjoy a walk along the beautiful
pathway! |
